The power of color
“Shaping the terracotta with bare hands to create volumetric figures and perspective effects is a way for me to express and feel emotions at once."

Visiting the Venice Biennale some years ago I met a Danish artist presenting some original terracotta works. The contact with this figure and his works did take me in, like a child, a strong desire to shape the clay. I started right away this positive experience that continuously enriches me of knowledge and emotions.
Since I was born under a volcano, I had a direct contact with different lava materials; the curiosity and the desire to "experiement" have pushed me to the development of artifacts where stone and clay become one obtaining more and more exciting results thus setting up the way for countless creative opportunities. This passion in working a so poor material, old and noble at the same time, gives me the chance to rediscover those moments of reflection, concentration and serenity that hardly hectic life of today's world allows.
